Stories Final draft

For this project i told a story with a group of pictures of Carlos being destroyed by the sun. I used allot of light and shadows, as well ass a little editing to change the light values on the pictures. I wanted to create a dramatic series of photos that told this story somewhat realistically (if possible). For the last photo i used picnik to make burns and edited in i photos to get the yellow tinge to the picture. This project was interesting and fun and it allowed me to use allot of what i have learned this year.

Storys second draft

For this second draft of trying to make stories of pictures i tried to go easy on the editing and just make the photos interesting through pure photography. I did do some editing for the second series of photos but i kept it a little more subtle than in the first draft. My goal for this assignment was to have fun but at the same time take interesting photos that convey a story apart from what the photos would be individually.

Wierd stories project

For this project i wanted to take photos that told a story, and then edit them like crazy. I edited them by adding blood, gore, hair, and color changing effects. I used Picnik to edit as well as i photo. In this project i wanted to tell a story but enhance the story and try to change it as much as possible using the editing. If a story was impossible to change i would try an make it more interesting none the less. Using editing i added drama and excitement to the photos, this project is sort of a cross between our halloween project and our stories project.

Halloween

For this project i tried to make scary and Halloween themed photos. I then enhanced the scare factor with picnik. Most of my pictures have a werewolf (AKA Carlos) in them. I used picnik to add blood and scars to the pictures. This project was probably the most fun off all of the projects this far, because i was able to use costumes and editing to make the photos more interesting.

Toys and live action pictures

For this post i used both live action and toys to create a story. I tried to make the stories as real as possible while still having an element of fantasy in the different series' of pictures. The lighting for the toys was the most difficult part, if the lighting wasn't just right, the toys look like toys instead of the reality that i am attempting to portray. The live action pictures were also difficult because it was hard to get them to look like something was actually happening.
