Halloween

For this project i tried to make scary and Halloween themed photos. I then enhanced the scare factor with picnik. Most of my pictures have a werewolf (AKA Carlos) in them. I used picnik to add blood and scars to the pictures. This project was probably the most fun off all of the projects this far, because i was able to use costumes and editing to make the photos more interesting.

Toys and live action pictures

For this post i used both live action and toys to create a story. I tried to make the stories as real as possible while still having an element of fantasy in the different series' of pictures. The lighting for the toys was the most difficult part, if the lighting wasn't just right, the toys look like toys instead of the reality that i am attempting to portray. The live action pictures were also difficult because it was hard to get them to look like something was actually happening.

Depth

For this assignment I tried to convey depth in my photos, i did this by having a series of similer objects lined up with some far away and some close. I also did this by having the effect of the road or sidewalk getting "smaller" the farther away it was. I also did this by having one object close and one far away. These are all classic ways to convey depth and I tried to combine these methods to get more interesting photos.

Avadon Style

For this assignment I took photos and tried to give them a sort of Avadon feel to them. I tried to take pictures where the person being photographed had a blank expression and the backround was white. This was supprisingly hard. When you are taking a photo of someone they tend to have some posed expression on their face. I was somewhat successful in this but most of the photos i took seemed to be of someone with a clear expression on their face. These photos are the best i was able to take in the Avadon style.
